It appears that you've may have left something out.
are you using wireless?
I'm no expert. However, I had this error message happen to me
recently. I was using Buetooth.
After you find the name of the device you want, enter. Arrow
down to modem:
you need to make sure it is "active."
(Simply stated your message above, when you locate the device
you want, should read:
"Device name - paired and active."
(Jeff, I'm assuming you know you have to use the Connectivity
Menu and set up accounts.)
