Ottawa Canada Dear Sharon:
We aren't quite sure just what you mean by Remote Access and to Access your computer. Yes, you can use the BrailleNote as a Braille display for your screen reader. Yes, you can access shared drives and folders on your pc to copy files back and forth. Yes I think you can use the BrailleNote keyboard to enter text into your PC when using the BrailleNote as a Braille Display. No, you cannot use the BrailleNote to access your pc like you would if using a program on the PC like CC Plus or PC Anywhere. This is because the BrailleNote doesn't have CC Plus or PC Anywhere running on it and also because it has no Alt, Windows, Application, Function, or Numeric keypad keys. If what you want to do is in my list of things you can do with the BrailleNote, please let either me personally, or all of us via the list know just what you would like to do, and we will gladly try to help you do it. If you want to do something else, if you can describe in more detail what you would like to do, we'll also gladly try to help you do it. Finally, if what you want to do isn't presently possible with the BrailleNote, we'll try to figure out a way you can do it somehow and add the request to Jonathan Mosen's Wishing Well of requested future upgrades. Hope this helps. Brian -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
