From what I've read in the manual, here it is. Note: Since I know and thus applying for a BT, I will give you the braille keystrokes only.
1. Open the options menu with space and O
2. Press space with I to open support information mode.
3. Press r to start the recalibration. If you haven't done so, plug in the AC adaptor and it will start.
Hope that helps.

OK... so I've done this a couple times but can't find my directions to do it.
THe battery on my BN needs (upgraded to keysoft 7 at the end of May) to be
recalibratedand it can't tell me the battery level because of this. Can anyone
tell me how so I can avoid a lengthy wait time with customer support line? It
was pretty simple if I remember correctly.
Thanks in advance for any help ! Kimberly Higham -----Original Message-----

Hi Cindy, There has been much discussion about how to use the M-power to emboss documents. There isn't a problem with the older Braillenote units since they have a parallel port. That works! The easiest way to emboss with the M-power to your Romeo is through the serial port. I wrote a post about this some time ago and if I find it, I'll pass it along. I wrote out how to set up the BN and the Romeo Embosser. If you want a parallel port solution, then I'd recommend getting the bluetake Bluetooth adapter from Enabling Technologies. There is also an infrared port adapter which I purchased through them as well and that works reasonably well. Once you figure out how you want to interface your Romeo to the M-power, you have a wonderful system for embossing documents. Please let me know which specifics you want me to elaborate on and I'll do so. I wouldn't think it would be the embosser because I never get to the point of setting up the embosser. Also, I have actually used the emboser with my PC. I'm trying to determine if it is embosser accurately. The only thing I had on the PC was Kurzweil 1000 and the embosser spit out extra things that might be format markings. I downloaded the manual for the embosser and reset it to factory settings so I thought I would try it with the mPower to see if I can get something embossed that does not contain these extra markings. I am trying to see if everything is okay with the embosser or if I need to have it repaired. Cindy

and keyword

the embosser.
