That would be so great! I wish that SPACE with I on a network could give the name, signal strength, security status, type, and maybe even the type of router (a, b, g, pre-n... Why not?). Why do we have to connect to a network before we realize it is too weak to use?

Also, when scanning for networks, we need to know if it has security. It could say secure or nonsecure out beside it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom Lange" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: [Braillenote] Suggestion for Connection Selection

Hi,
I don't know if anyone's suggested this, but here it is anyway. As I mentioned in my previous post, I've been using Keyweb a lot, so I need to select which configuration to use. I could type the configuration name at the prompt, but when I cursor down through the list of available configurations, there's no way to select by first letter navigation. This seems to me to be inconsistent with the way other selection lists behave in Keysoft. Why was it designed this way, and is there a chance that that could be remedied? I have a number of configurations for different situations and I really like the idea of being able to move straight to a configuration name by typing its first letter. Thoughts, anybody?

Tom
