Again, as ai have previously stated, some things are better done on a PC. I do not know any sighted persons who do their banking using a PDA or smart phone. I think it's a bad idea anyway, because of the possibility of identity theft and other problems if the unit is lost or stolen. Andy
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tom Lange Sent: Friday, August 25, 2006 10:41 AM To: Braillenote List Subject: [Braillenote] Another Keyweb Problem Hi, Up until perhaps late June, I've been able to use Keyweb at my online banking site, Washington Mutual, to set up electronic bill payments. It was a simple matter to get to that page, find the links for the payees and the input controls next to them for specifying how much to pay and when to do it. Now when I go to that page with Keyweb, the payee names and input controls show up as text only, as if the form isn't being rendered properly by Keyweb. I called up Washington Mutual tech support and explained that I'd been accessing the site with a PDA and had until recently been able to use the forms successfully for bill payment. The tech whom I spoke to said that PDA access has never been supported. That portion of the site has, to my knowledge, always used some sort of javascript. I don't know if the site has recently been tweaked significantly or whether the problem only cropped up after I upgraded to Keysoft 7.01. In any case, I'm puzzled by this and would like to know what can be done, as I'm not always at a PC when I want to use that portion of the site. If anybody else out there uses a Braille Note for online banking, and particularly through Washington Mutual, I'd like to know if you've had similar trouble or if it's just Keyweb acting up in my machine.
