I am not so sure about that. It seems to me that HW has always been best
because of their closed, blind user-specific operating environment. I think
one of the best things would be to release a way for the average user to
write programs for KeySoft, or a drastic expansion of KS updates--more help
in development, more beta testers, and so on.
Hey, I just thought of something. Why doesn't HW release HOW to code for
KeySoft, then have a program set up in which people email a file containing
the completed code, the program that gets the email compiles that code, and
the user receives either the executable file or a message outlining errors.
There would need to be no human interaction on HW's side, and the company
could just have a disclaimer that any damage to a HW product is the
responsibility of the owner of that unit.
Oh, I did it again; I rambled on off topic of the subject. Well anyway,
there it is.
Have a great day,
Alex, whose repaired mPower COMES TOMORROW!!!!!!

Stan, I think you're absolutely correct, but we'll do the best we can.
I'll
certainly try and help as many as I am able, as will Rhonda and all the
rest. BrailleNote users will pull together till the excellent or the
bitter
end. I do think, like many others, that if Humanware is going to compete,
we need an open platform. With Jonathan now gone, we definitely will have
to find a way to move in that direction. Thanks.
