Cindy. I seem to remember when FS became a new entity that people were
worried because the upper management had no real grasp on the blindness
industry and what they needed.
I am still not sure they do. Perhaps Jonathan will help them in that
direction.
Without Jonathan at Humanware, who knows what will drive the decisions for
future innovation. Will it be someone who is well acquainted with the
blindness culture and industry or someone, who although is a good CEO from a
sighted organization now working for HW doesn't really have a grasp on what
blind users really need to succeed?

Also, it very much does have to do with the Braillenote. His leaving leaves
us all wonder as to the state of our devices. I don't think the world hangs
on one man but he did seem to have a strong influence and our device of the
future will greatly be shaped by the fact that he will not be there. It
will now be someone else's ideas that help form what we use. I do not know
if it will be a benefit or a detriment but it will definitely be an effect.
