Hello Rose,
I had terrible problems with the planner, which is why they came
out with a patch a while back.
When I would reset I would lose all alarms consequently, not
receive my reminder appointment.
I use the planner, for my appointments, credit card billing
dates, doctors appointments, and many other items. Since I
received the patch, things have been working great.
If you upgraded to 7.0 or 7.01 it should have that patch in it,
and you should have better luck with your alarms.
occasionally I will go to the planner utility maintenance and
run that and it will come back saying planner was updated
successfully.
Hth,
Robert

I stopped using the planner alarm feature because sometimes it
works as it
should but many times it does not and I have had several
occasions when I
have taken the unit to a meeting and an alarm would not stop
going off, I'd
think I got it shut off only to have it return five minutes
later. Since I
dislike the alarm sound in the first place, and since it was so
problematic,
I only use it when I am traveling, as a wake up alarm, never for
anything at
work.

Cindy, I would either modify the appointment, or just not set an
alarm for
that appointment. Those are the only two ways I know.
Good luck with this.
