I assume you've done a reset and all that good stuff, with the one that
won't work? If so, and it still won't work, it must be PMS-ing. <grin> In
other words, it's one of those frustrating computer mysteries. I have a
compact flash card that every now and then does that, and I have to do some
resets and inserting of other cards to convince it that it really does want
to work.

I have a question that I hope someone here on the list can answer for me.
I have 2 Compact Flash (CF) cards that are 256 and the Brand is Smart.
One works in the Mpower no problem, but the other one will not and the
Mpower says card not recognized please remove and reinsert and then press
enter. If they are the same size, same brand why does one work and the
other not? Any help would be appreciated,
