Well the advantage of the Mpower generating DTMF (Touch Tone) tones is that instead of just looking up a number for someone then having to key it into your telephone, you just hold the mouthpiece of the telephone to the speaker on the Mpower and the Mpower tone-dials the number for you. This saves having to remember the crazy number, maybe mixing it up and things like that. Some elderly blind people especially find a feature like this handy. Also, if you are using a Calling Card, the Mpower could generate the tones to input the card number and all you would have to do manually is punch in the PIN unless it is part of the string input with the card number.
