Betsy, There is a rule here. Because of hardware limitations, any card that is over 512 MB will not work when upgrading. I would recommend (from my experiences, as well as experiences of toerhs), that you use 128, 256, or a 512 MB card when upgrading. I would also recommend that you also put the upgrade key file in the same SD card.
