Robert, Voice over IP uses more CPU power and memory than text chat. And, considering the fact that we have some deaf blind users lke kathleen, it is more appropreiate that we use Text chats more than VOIP.

My understanding is that if you want voice chat, you would either need a external microphone, or you could use the built in microphone in the braillenote.
