You are right. I already did that. Several times to make
sure. When the setup is directed to a folder on the compact flash
drive, nothing happens.
If it is set to None, then it records.
Thanks for double checking though. I can't tell you how many times I
have missed something like that. But, not this time.

Richard, you probably did this, but here's just a suggestion.
From the Main Menu, press M. Press S for "setup options". Press
Enter. At that point, select your drive and folder that you would
like your recordings to go to. It may have gone back to default
with the upgrade.
