hello Joseph,
This message does not seem off-topic to me. You just told us
which cards are compatible with our BrailleNotes. The fact that
the cards may not be Humanware products is not what qualifies
them to be discussed on this list, but the fact that they can be
used with our Braille and Voice notes or PK is something that
many of us may want to know. In my opinion there's no sense in
spending money on these devices if we can't discuss, on the
dedicated list, what will or will not work with them.
I believe, and everyone is entitled to a belief, that any
question asked about something that expands the use of these
Humanware products is not off-topic. You don't know what your
device is capable of doing until you ask someone who may know the
answer.
Thanks for reading,
Sammie Clay

Rhonda and list,
General word on WiFi cards: a best way to overcome this is to
tell the clerk
that you want to purchase a WiFi CompactFlash card for your PDA
(BrailleNote
fits the descrtiption of the PDA). If they ask what version that
you have,
tell them it is either Windows Mobile 2003 or Pockdt PC 2003
(Yes, Windows
Mobile 2003/Pocket PC 2003 is based on Windows CE 2003). Just a
bit off
topic, but a general tip for buying the right card.

This is not a recommended practice. Most places won't let you
try out
various cards, nor do most computer stores know what a
BrailleNote is.

Subject: [Braillenote] WiFi cards?
Hello,
I am a new BrailleNote user, and own a Linksys WiFi card, which
I
purchased about 18 months ago, when testing out a PacMate. It
worked fine
with the PacMate, but the BrailleNote does not recognize it.
What cards work with the BrailleNote, and where can they be
found? Also,
does anyone know of any that come with an RJ45 port for hardware
connection?
Thanks,
Diane
