I have had my mPower for a week now and have managed to have a wireless
card installed at home. I have been on the internet a few times both at
home and away. How fun!
Now, I am trying to access e-mail. I looked in the "Getting Started" for
Eudora and I think I have set my BN to match those of the Eudora
program. In spite of this, I can neither send nor receive e-mail messages
with my BN.
I called Charter, my internet provider and got instructions for getting to
my messages from their web page, but I will need further practice and/or
instructions to make that method functional. Also, although I have a cable
connection, the 1 message that I managed to delete took several
seconds. Very tedious! I was really floundering around on the page not
knowing if I should be finding the message or clicking on a link to get to
it.
I considered my next best option. Should I be writing this now, or should
I be calling Charter again?
I know there were some messages about sending or receiving e-mail, but I
didn't fully understand the information that was given. Was there
something about SSl? I would like to have some intelligent questions to
ask tech support when I contact Charter help again. For now, I will head
to my BN manual to review again the steps to setting up e-mail.
Maybe my problems can be solved on this list as some previous problems have
already been resolved for me. On the other hand, I may need to change my
ISP. Could it be that I don't know what I am doing, and there is a simple
solution?
Thanks for any help to this nebulous question.
