Thanks Joseph.
I don't have 7.10. Can't I use bluetooth for using bn as terminal?
I could use it with USB to serial adapter though. Is it knot possible to change the comp numbers? Serial to USB showed 4 and now I have removed the drivers for serial to USB adapter.

the message I get when I try to use it is "there are no bluetooth devices that are paired and active." I guess pairing is not possible without activesync. Is there anyway to find out that my bluetooth is working at all?

Tara,
ActiveSync is a completely different service than Terminal for Screen Reader using Bluetooth. In order to use Com ports above 4, you'll need to install JAWS 7.10 (which allows you to select up to Com 8).

Subject: [Braillenote] using bluetooth for BN
as terminal for screenreader

Hi all.
If I want to use BN as terminal for Jaws
using bluetooth, will I have to
install activeSync first?
I have installed the drivers for bluetooth
and bluetooth USB dongle is
connected, still BN is not able to find any
active bluetooth devices.

Second problem is that when I tried to
configure jaws to work with my BN I
see only comps 1 through 4 whereas the
bluetooth program on my laptop shows
comps 6 onwards.
In short I need detailed instructions to make
my BN work with bluetooth.
Any help is appreciated.
Many many thanks in anticipation.
Regards
TaraPrakash
