What brand and kind of cable did you get and are you using an M-power?

Hello,
I don't know why this cable didn't work for you, I have a Juliet
embosser that I have used, and it works just fine.
I have tried the Bluetake adapter, and it does not work for me, I
can use it for my ink-jet printer, but it will not work for the
embosser.
I hope that whatever is used, that it works well for the person.
Regards,
Robert Stigile

Hello Robert,
This won't work with the Juliet Embossers. I tried your
suggestion and the
cable didn't work with my Juliet Classic embosser.
I believe this party will need to get the Bluetake Bluetooth
Adapter for
around 70 dollars from Enabling Technology or the infrared
adapter for the
same price for the BN to work with the Juliet embosser especially
if he is
using the M-power. If a classic is being used, then this party
can use a
parallel cable. I find it hard to believe the Juliet Pro doesn't
have a
serial port. I'm checking this out on their site. If it does,
the serial
port may be the best bet till the appropriate parallel port
option is
purchased.

Hello,
I have read your messages, and I am wondering, if you have a
braillenote
that is using the newer ports, so that you have a usb port in
the back,
and the Juliet you have has a parallel port, then why not just
go and
purchase a parallel to usb cable.
I use one of these cables with my hp deskjet, and it works
great, so if
you are interested, you can purchase this cable at Best Buy or
Radio
Shack.
Hth,
Robert Stigile

Dear J. T. Laurie:
OK so the problem is the techs at your school are mainly
Macintosh gurus.
What model HP printer are you trying to print on and who
configured the printer for you?
And with the Juliet embosser, you basically need the Juliet
manual as I believe you have to tell it to receive data on the
serial port and if it hasn't been told, it is probably listening
on its parallel port for data that never comes.
