No that is the wierd part.

I was sitting on the couch reading a book editing it for Bookshare, and it
froze in the middle of a sentence. Which isn't that uncommon with the
Classic, with big files, so I figured that was what had happened so tied to
hit the reset button like I normally do and nothing. Was plugged in at the
time too.

But nope. it has worked fine. Even got a battery change in May and a
cleaning. Only thing that wasn't working was two dots in one of the cells
wouldn't move, figure it was just getting old. But this is not cool.

I have cared as best I can for this thing, and it has traveled the country
with me on many plane flights and has done a lot of work for me. but nothing
it wasn't designed to handle.

Dog ownership is like a rainbow.
Puppies are the joy at one end.
Old dogs are the treasure at the other.

good lord, did you tucker it out?
seriously, have you hit the keys hard, done anything that might account for
it getting stuck? I dropped mine once and it never worked again. battery no
longer held a charge, reset on every power-on and a pain.
