Hi, Loren,

I did the upgrade, retaining my Braille display. Yes, it is worth it. Among other things besides those mentioned, you get USB 2.0 ports, two of them, a client USB, Bluetooth, much more flash disk memory, SD card slot as well as Compact Flash, and more. Additionally, the time may come when major upgrades will benefit you little on the Classic. I'd do it now if you can while the price remains reasonable. I know it's a lot of money, especially for both of you, but you won't regret it. At least, I don't regret it at all.

Hi All,

I am new to this lest now. I have what is now called the classic, running 7.0, and hopefully soon, 7.2.

My wife also has a braille note classic.

For those of you who have done so, is it worth the 2100 or so to upgrade to the empower? We are both happy with what we have now. Any thoughts on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
