First, let me welcome you to the list, and I'm sure you'll find in no time that we have some rather knowledgeable and very helpful members here. Like you, I started out with a classic, and I absolutely loved that machine. In fact, I think I'll always love my first voicenote. But to answer your question about whether it would be worth it to upgrade to the m power, I would say yes, if you can at all afford to. I made the switch earlier this year, and I tell you, Humanware really out did themselves with the release of this wonderful machine. It's so feature rich, and I guaranty you that if you decide to make the switch, that you won't regret doing it. Honestly, I just can't say enough good things about the m power, and I can't wait to see what your opinion will be if you decide to go with one. Good luck to you in whatever you opt to do, and again, welcome to the braillenote list. Isaih

Subject: [Braillenote] new to the list

Hi All,

I am new to this lest now. I have what is now called the
classic, running 7.0, and hopefully soon, 7.2.

My wife also has a braille note classic.

For those of you who have done so, is it worth the 2100 or so to
upgrade to the empower? We are both happy with what we have now. Any thoughts on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
