If the gauge says that it is accurate
(assuming that there are no errors givch),
then you are fine. You don't need to
recalibrate.

OK, here's what option C gives me on my bnb
MPower 32 running ks 7.2 build
47.
Nominal available charge: 1359
Option d gives me:
Last measured discharge: 1359
Designed capacity: 1800
DO I need to recalibrate?
I was getting the battery recalibration
recommended message for about 3
days, then the bn just up and died last two
nights ago, and yesterday
morning I plugged it in and the battery
recalibration recommended message
went away.
I hit option a from support information mode,
witch used to give me battery
recalibration recommended: error plus or
minus 5 percent.
Option A now gives me, without using the
recalibration methods in support
information mode: gauge is accurate, plus or
minus 2%.
Ideas folks?

Check the following from Support Info Mode:
c value: when it is fully charged, it should
match d value.
d value: if the value displays that it is
significantly higher than the
designed capacity, then it is time for
recalibration.
How long it has been since you've last
recalibrated your battery?
Here's the factor: If the designed capacity
is 1800 and if your battery
capacity is 2000 or greater, then it is time
for recalilration (anything
above 1800 means that it is time for
recalibration). If the designed
capacity is 1650 and the battery capacity is
1750 (anything greater than
1650), then it is time for recalibration.
Try recalibrating your battery (using any
method you like, such as manual or
using Support Info Mode commands such as f,
g, or r).

I am getting the message "battery
conditioning recommended" when i check the
battery level using the space with o followed
by the p key. Also when I press space with o
to get into options, then space with i to get
into support information mode, then a to get
the accuracy of the gauge; I get the message
"battery conditioning recommended, error plus
or minus 5%." I was wondering if anyone has
any recommendations of what I should do. If
it is a recalibration of the battery, which
should be performed.
