let the moderator decide. not everyone has time and inclination for voting
on this issue. the kind of excessive and sometime unnecessary traffic on the
list dissuades many people from reading all mails on the list. I know some
people who unsubscribed due to the traffic.
I have said earlier that it is not an ideal solution but on this particular
list, where there is hardly any moderation and no restraint on off list
mails, it is a better solution to let the response go by default to the
individual and not to the list.

Karyn and list,
I guess it's time to vote what to do with the list policy. Whether to
have replies sent to the originator (original sender) or leave this
unchanged.
Cheers,
Joseph

comparisons and list traffic
I am in favor of such a move as well and have
expressed this privately to
Andy Riden.
