When I first got my classic in 2002, I thought it was great fun to use active stinc but now-a-days, I use flash cards, stick drives or a large 300 gb external hard drive which is just so much easier and quicker than fooling around with all that rigamarole. See next message because I have had a question for quite sometime about the mpower and pk.

Subject: [Braillenote] Is ActiveSync really needed?

This is a reposting of the topic I posted last night
because I haven't seen any responses (and maybe that's
because of the topic being renamed). Before I get to
my question let me just say that I watch, very
carefully, the name of the topics I post and look for
the exact same title of my post in the response.
Anywho, given the Disk On Chip Technology, and I think
you can install updates to KeySoft directly on the
BrailleNote without ActiveSync, do you really need
ActiveSync at all to use the BrailleNote? I know with
the PACmate that you do or else you will lose the data
you have on it, but with the BrailleNote I don't think
that's the case.
