Hi Nikki:
If you were using a BT keyboard, your "at" sign would be a U with
the Spacebar, (dots 136). Your dot would be dots 46. It's not a
lot different than writing in grade one, but for instance, your
comma would be a dot six, rather than a dot three. There are
changes to the question mark and exclamation mark as well.

Subject: [Braillenote] Computer braille
Good evening everyone,
I am really going to show my ignorance with this question but oh
well. I have spent the last couple of years learning braille and
am now fairly competant though not very quick with grade 2. My
question is this. What exactly does the BN mean by "computer
braille"? I do understand the various symbols used in reference
to computer terms and the internet. I don't really understand
what it means to enter things in computer braille though. Since
I use a QT keyboard, I know this isn't something I am really
affected by but I just would like to understand it. Thanks to
anyone who would care to explain this to me. You are welcom to
e-mail me privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Sincerely,
Nikki B.
