I live in the UK and am thinking about connecting my Braillenote to the Internet and using it for sending email as although I do a lot of stuff with my BN ie my Spanish course, using Keyplan and taking notes for meetings of a Blind group we have set up in my local area to try and get better facilities for the Blind there I am wondering if I am making the best use of the machine or whether I could be doing more with the money I spent on purchasing it as they cost a few thousand pounds in the UK. I have my ISP with BT but I also have a GMail account for email and my service has a wireless router although I as yet am not making any use of my wireless connection what with me having problems with my laptop which I unfortunately put out of action when I installed the testing version of Ubuntu Linux on it so I am still not using wireless since I got my wireless router from BT. What tips could anyone suggest for me which would get me going with both Internet and email on my Braillenote? Would I need to change my ISP for example? Could I use my Googlemail address with the BN? Apart from a couple of demonstrations I have managed to work out some features of the Braillenote by myself ie the Keyplan feature which is just as well as it would have cost me another six hundred and odd pounds on top of the four thousand and odd pounds I have already spent on the unit itself. You can answer my questions directly if you like if this question is going to bug people who may have already given answers as regards setting up wireless Internet and email.
