Hi Donna,
You can in fact use a larger SD card. There is a quirk with Windows CE 4.2 (same as Windows Mobile 2003 that you've been used to) regarding SD driver: that you cannot use cards that are 2 GB or larger. HumanWare has released a driver which fixes this issue.
And welcome to the world of BrailleNote!
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. Do I know you? (it seems that your name is familiar)

Subject: [Braillenote] Question re SD cards

Hello all,

My name is Donna Goodin. I just joined this
list because I am seriously
considering the purchase of a BrailleNote. I
have been reading the
manual, and it appears that it is not
possible to use SD cards larger
than 1G. Is this true?

Thanks in advance, I look forward to learning
from all of you about the
BrailleNote.
Cheers,,
Donna
