Hi leslie and All,

You're right, it is certainly much easier to handle these things when one is
able to hear the prompts given by the cell phone. But, although I do listen
and hear the prompts, I'm thinking that one could memorize the steps, and
then be able to perform them for their specific PPC device.

The problem, though, is that each device is just a little different in
getting to the Bluetooth settings and handling the Bluetooth and all. For
example, no matter what I do to try and make it behave differently, my iPAQ
always comes up with Bluetooth turned on. But, in your case, that might be
a good thing; for, if you could have Bluetooth to be on when the device
starts up, as well as have the device set to allow other devices to discover
it, then at least that part of the problem would be dealt with.

Chris, thank you for reply. Ofcourse, we can pair the bluetooth to headset,
keyboard, and GPS by ourselves but we can not do with cellular or PDA. It
requires to have the sighted helpers. Why? I am deaf and blind. I failed to
understand with Mobile Speak Pocket Screen Reader.

if you did pair your BN and Cell/PDA by yourself? Do you use audio? Tell me
how could you control both pairing without sighted and audio?

Unless I'm missing something, the BN was soly designed for the blind, so
it's obvious that you can pair devices yourself.

For non-sighted users, can you pair the bluetooth connect both your BN and
modem by yourself?
