Ah, so it's not that bad then. Thanks for the assurance.

Chris,
Well, you would set up all of this using the information provided in the
user guide. The thing to keep in mind when using the BrailleNote, running
CE 4.2 is that the bluetooth connection is far from stable when doing
anything with internet via bluetooth. It seems that once there is a large
amount of data trying to be transfered through bluetooth the bluetooth
utility will shut off and drop your connection. Other than there is no
other major bluetooth issue.
Comments from others are more than welcomed
This is my experience using a PK, mPower, five GPS receivers, bluetooth
equipped cell phone, bluetooth equipped printer, and bluetooth equipped
laptop.

Can anyone explain to me any bluetooth issues that I need to be aware of
please? I'm thinking of using mPower as a bluetooth Braille display for
my computer, and maybe connect it up to my phone for GPRS access via
bluetooth, as well as other tasks, like ActiveSync for the PC. Thanks!

Peggy,
The issue that you are describing is an issue of using Windows CE 4.2
which does not fully support bluetooth. This will be fixed once
HumanWare decides to get Windows CE 6 up and running.

Subject: [Braillenote] Bluetooth
Hi, all. I don't know if my Bluetooth situation is related to the same
thing that causes my modem problem, or if there's something else I need
to do. I have the BN paired with my cell phone, and when I try to
connect, I hear dialing sounds in the BN, and the display says
"dialing" and then doesn't say anything else. How long is it supposed
to take to dial using Bluetooth? I think the cell reception is good in
the location I've been trying, but perhaps it's not good enough for the
cell phone to be a modem? Or perhaps this is related to the hardware
issue? Just want to get some feedback from those who use Bluetooth
regularly.
Peggy
