You raise a good point about the cost and inconvenience of having
to send your unit back to Humanware for relatively minor jobs,
such as battery replacement.

I believe the Victor Reader Stream has an end-user replicable
battery, so it appears Humanware is listening.

I also note your previous comments that the repairs to your unit
were not satisfactory and it had to go back for further work.
Sorry to hear of this.  But hopefully the unit is in good working
order now and won't need any more trips to Concord for surgery
for a long time.
