I know it's not as good as HUMANWARE putting something in here for us
like a note book; But Couldn't my instructions work?
Please read all the way to the bottom of that email I even told how
you could open the note Book with just two or three key commands!

Can you write me directly and give me detailed steps that you use for
doing back ups. Back in 5.1, I did a few back ups. I think Saville
Allen had me do the incremental. When I got my M-power, I tried the
old
card in the new machine and can only find one back up file and both of
the 2 books Rhonda and I downloaded are gone. I still am lost with
the
incremental back up, does it just replace the updated files? If so,
does it create a new file or does it update the existing file. If it
replaces the existing incremental back up, then I should only have the
original back up and the most recent incremental back up.
I need to start backing up my files. I also us the general folder on
my
M-power.
This issue about a notes folder is really easy. I have a file for
different subjects like, NFB, Terry, Staff and travel when I went to
convention. This way if it was related to work I had a place, if it
was
about the NFB it had a place and it went under my name for other
subjects.
Do I need a special folder to store the back ups in. someone's
directions said something about creating a folder for them.

I use the backup feature of the BN all the time. In fact, every time
I
modify some files or change some settings, I try to back things up.
Now, if it is settings and the like that I want to save, I perform a
full
backup. That usually takes three or four minutes, and it takes about
that
same time to restore a backup back onto the flash disk.
However, if it is files that I want to backup, well, I mostly just
copy
them
manually to the CF card I use for my PK or the SD card I use for my
mPower.
I mean, seeing as I know how to get to the individual folders within
my
backup folder; rather than do a full or incremental backup, I just put
the
files in the correct place in my backup folder myself, saying yes to
the
prompt to replace any files I want to update in this manner.

Well, I got curious after this morning's discussion, so decided to

about the Backup utility in the user manual. It looks like a nice
little utility that would take care of data loss issues rather easily.
What are people's experiences with this utility? Also, how long does a
typical--if there is such a thing--full backup take?
