OK John, thanks for that. It's no big deal, but I will certainly ask them to do a hardware check and whatever they need to do for servicing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Patrick Houck" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Karyn Campbell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]>

Hello, I have never had a problem with the FM Radio. I've used it at home, on trips and at the Library and other locations while out. I've got several stations saved and they get pretty good reception all things considered. I think the problems that some of you are having with it is probably something wrong with the FM Radio hardware components. Electronics are great but there are many things that can go wrong during the manufacturing of them. X can happen with any electrical part and or device. i have bought a spindle of blank discs, and have had a handful of discs be defective. I currently have an SD card that has some kind of glich in it. The braillenote will not even recognise it and when I put it in my mp3 player there's a buzzing in all of the tracks. I have erased and recopied the same tracks again with the same result. I've reformatted as well as performing a disc cleanup trying to repair the card with no change. I have another SD card that I've copied the same songs on and I've not had any problems with it, which leads me to believe that the other card is defective. I've also bought musical equipment that has had to be sent back because it was defective. Anyway, enough of my rambling, what I am trying to say is sometimes you get a bad apple. If your FM Radio isn't working, next time you have to send your unit into Humanware have them check the hardware. I'm sure it's just a problem with the chip or something like that.
Sincerely,
John

Chris,

I am not surprised that you can't get the radio to work, even in
the UK. My
husband and I are in the U.S. and we can't get it to work
either. Actually,
I haven't even tried and my husband can't even get our community
college
station and we live extremely close, I would say within a
half mile or
less, to the radio station and its receiver.

Sorry but this was not one of the better add-ons in my opinion.

Karyn Campbell,
