Subject: [Braillenote] confirmed bugs found under KeySoft 7.5.17
Hi
The following is confirmed on BrailleNote PK running keysoft 7.5 build 17:
* email writing in grade 2 braille. There are problems with some
contractions but not all.
Contractions that are affected include: but, can, do, every, it.
and other words like:
also, although, already
If I set prefered braille code in options menu to UEB, everything seems
fine. It is obvious Humanware have done a lot of work on UEB support in
this
version of keysoft and I must congratulate them on this.
My nromal prefered english braille code is set to Australian.
* keyplus data entry mode.
The exception is confirmed but if you turn data entry mode on and then
press
space d to turn it back off again quickly everything is normal.
It is a serious bug though.
Again for me personally this is not a problem as I don't use it but for
many
it will be a problem.
*sending email with non SSL accounts:
The first time I tried this it did not work, I get an error message but
the
second time I tried my message was sent.
*network card: socket EA2902-139
The network card issue does not happen here.
Both my cards are working fine.
Hope this helps.
