Hi, this happens to me and what I have worked out is I am on
three book lists and the same person sends the same message to
all the lists but I only get one copy on my bn. If I save the
message and later download my messages to my pc I will get three
copies of the message there. I have my bn set to only delete off
the server if the message is in the trash.
So this could explain what is happening with you.

I have recently noticed something weird with my incoming mail.
For example, Key Mail will report four new messages on the
server, grab them, and then say three new messages. That is
indeed all I have in the in box but looking in the trash and
other places doesn't reveal the missing message. Does anyone
have
any experience or ideas about what is going on here?
By the way, I'm still using KeySoft 7.20.
