Steve, 

Yes, this is an alternative option. It is not  recommended to use  ActiveSync 
as the connection can and may be interrupted.

Hi,

If you didn't have a card reader, but did have a USB memory 
stick, could you unzip then copy the files to the stick, and use 
the BN to transfer them on to the CF card?
