Hi Don:

I have, as you suggested, taken a look at the Log file. The log contains a
message that says "An existing connection was forceably closed by the remote
host." I can't see which record, if any, caused this to happen, but if
anyone has a clue what I might look for in my address book, please let me
know. Do I assume that since the connection being forceably closed showed
up on the PC that the BN closed the connection for some reason?

Thanks,

Ray,

This might help locate the specific record giving the problem, or at
least give a clue as to what's going on.

Open keysync, probably from the systray. On the files menu there is
an item called "open log file". This might shed some light on the
situation.

Subject: [Braillenote] More on my Keysync 3.0 Problem

Hello All:

Here's a little more information on the Keysync 3.0 problem I have
been
having. When I get the message that "keysoft.exe has performed an
illegal
operation and will be shut down," I also get "exception 0XC0000005.
Also, I
recently acquired my Moto Q Smart Phone and it synced the contacts
from my
phone into Outlook, including contacts that have no e-mail addresses
with
them.

Also, the BN seems to get through the first about 10 records on my
contact
book before giving me the Fatal Application Error message.

I tried the 4-5-6 reset and this did not solve the problem. Also,
when I
installed Keysync 3.0, I had uninstalled Keysync 2.0 first, and I
did
re-boot the PC when I installed Keysync 3.0.

Any ideas?
