Hi

There is also a method to make .doc files default file type in word 2007.

Brian,

The correct extension for Word 2007 files are .docs and no longer .doc. It is possible to use the Save As feature to save the 2007 file as a 2003 or earlier file, which will work as long as there are no complex formatting elements added.

Dear Alana:

Try saving the file in .RTF (Rich Text Format) on the PC. This
should let you use it fine on the BrailleNote.

The correct extension for a MS Word document I believe is .doc
not docx.

Perhaps this has changed in Word 2007.

Hope this helps.
