Hi,

Some time ago, I took a full backup of the flash disk twice.
The first was on to a memory stick, then the second on to a Cf card. This gave me the same backup on to different devices, in case one broke or something. Anyway, now four months later, I thought I would delete them as they are out of date. So I used File Manager, Folder Manager, Erase to do this on both the folders where I had put the backups. In both cases though, I had to do the erase twice because the first attempt did not complete. I got the same messages, and same number of files/folders erased each time.

So, having chosen the folder and assured it I did really want to delete the folder and all it contained, it asked if I wanted to erase a protected file.
I Answered "a".
Then I was asked about deleting a hidden file, and again I answered "a".
I answered "y" to delete each database .cdb file individually.
First attempt I got:-
87 folders erased. 900 files erased then "The directory is not empty."
Retried and:-
15 folders erased. 114 files erased.

I have seen this happen before, but never recorded the details.
On previous occasions, I briefly checked to see if the folders left had anything in common, like all contained subdirectories, or all didn't, but nothing turned up.

This is on a BT32 transplant running 7.5.20.

Regards,
Steve.
