Hi,

I tried to erase another backup and got the same problem.
This backup was taken 24th September 2007 under 7.5.20.
(I'm now on 7.5.28).
Tried the erase once and 87 folders erased 910 files erased, then the directory is not empty '''.
This was on a memory stick.
Left 8 folders out of 32.
By the databases deleted it went in this order: Keylist; Keymail; Keybase; databases--(one of mine). All 12 system supplied folders were erased, so 12 out of 20 of my folders went.

I thought it might be to do with the number of nested subdirectories, but the folder that should have the most is gone.
Example of directory structure in the backup:-
"flashall20070924 72-24/bibles/nas95 unlocked/letters/CORINTHIANS".

Wondered if it might be to do with the age of the directory as all the oldest ones seemed to have gone. However, a directory called "email", created on 28th June 2007, was left, but "from email", created 8th November 2007, was taken.

I am not sure though that the problem depends on a particular file or part of the directory structure as such. The reason I say this is because if I repeat the same erase, what failed to be removed by the first erase is cleared up by the second. If their was a problem with let's say a certain level of subdirectory, you might expect the erase to keep failing there.
It's a bit like it's run out of a resource.

Regards,
Steve.
