Hi Stacy,

Yes, you absolutely can save the NLS braille books to your BN and you do not have to put them on a computer first. I used to do this all the time but since joining Bookshare haven't gone to NLS in a while. There are magazines and books in braille there on the NLS Web braille site. What you do is go to the book or magazine and open it and then I think you hit "ctrl" plus "s" on the BN to save it to a file. Enjoy!

Hi yes I guess ActiveSync is your option.

It does not support NLS books, it might use the BRF ones though,
it's worth a
try.

Hi every one. Okay so I am interested in downloading some books
on to
my bn. Does the bn support books from the National Library
Service,
(nls)? Also, there are some books from nls that are on their
website
that are braille files, is this duable on the bn? I was looking
in the
manual and it was recommended that the books be downloaded to the
pc and
then transferred to the bn. Is Activesync the best way to
transfer the
books to the bn? I don't have a card reader or anything attached
to my
pc. Sorry for all my questions!
Best to all,
Stacy
