Hi all,
Stacy, nice to see you back on the lists. How you been? Haven't seen you
around in ages, it seems.

If you mean Web Braille from NLS, the answer is yes. You can download
them directly to your BN without transferring them. If you mean the
Beta Audio Site, the answer is no. NLS has not allowed Humanware to
use the BN as a source for playing the audio books yet.

Stacy, Activesync is really only good for synchronizing one's address
book and calendar. It's configuration is sometimes difficult, and it
is more trouble than it's worth to use it to transfer files. My best
advice is to go to your local computer store and buy an SD card or two
and a card reader. The two things together will cost you less than
$50.00. If I were you, I'd buy a card reader that will take more than
one type of card. That way you could use both CF and SD cards. It's
a good investment, especially if you decide to buy a Victor Reader
Stream or some other type of MP3 player. Even if you just want to
store books, the cards are an excellent medium for this. No, I'd
advise getting a couple of cards and a card reader. If you want to
synchronize your outlook with your BN, you can do that with
Activesync, if you're dead set on giving yourself an hour or two's
frustration. But why aggravate yourself when it comes to
transferring files.
