Iyana, Changing the extension will work in some cases, but more often than not, there will be some issues as a result of not going through the proper process. Your best bet is to obtain an audio converter that will go between many formats including WAV, and MP3. I have one that is a demo version, which places a limitation of only converting information up to 5 minutes. It works very nicely with JAWS and can convert between 50 or so formats.

Hi list Does changing the extension on an audio file change the type, say wav to mp3. Can you do that? Iyana ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
