Brian, One minor correction, the displays are KGS not KDS. This is a well known company in the Braille display industry. I believe that they have two or three really nice tactile graphic displays as well as a fully tactile television. The cost of these are quite high as are the cost of single line Braille displays.

Would be worth pursuing as you are looking at almost $800 if you buy directly from Humanware. Your Classic probably has the older Tieman Braille display. Humanware USA has announced they will no longer offer maintenance agreements on units with these displays. They do offer an upgrade path to a brand new Mpower with BT or QT (Brailler or typewriter-like) keyboards and an 18 or 32 cell Braille display with the newer KDS Braille display at very attractive prices. Contact Humanware Customer service for details. Good luck. Brian Brian K.
