Welcome to this list. I'm sure that you'll
get many answers to many questions on this

From economic standpoint, I think it is
better to spend $500 to upgrade to 7.5
disusing Classic) and then use transplant to
upgrade to the mPower (instead of paying over
$2800 for transplant plus 4 SMA's you've
missed (6.1, 7.0, 7.2, 7.5). After that,
it's up to you.
Feel free to ask any BrailleNote questions
here. I'm sure many experts out there would
be glad to answer your questions.

Hello all! My name is Jenny, and I am new to
the list, although not new to
the braille note. I actually have what seems
like an ancient braille note
classic running Keysoft 5.0, but am
desperately searching for ideas as to
how I can upgrade. I am strongly considering
upgrading Keysoft itself to
7.5, but upon reading a couple of previous
posts on this list, it appears
there may actually be a way to upgrade my
classic to the M-power while
keeping my current braille display, which I
suspect would drop the cost
significantly. If anybody would be willing
to share a little more
information as to how this can be
accomplished or can point me in the right
direction to find out myself, it would be
greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I
simply wanted to introduce myself, say hello
and add that I look forward to
learning more from everyone here!
