like guies you forgot tetris!!! starting with ks 7.0 I think, you
can
go to main menu, press u for utilities, k for key management and
e for
enter a new product key, then type "playtime" without the
quotes and
hit enter. And in 7.2 they added "dean Jackson: a tribute" again
go to
produck key? and type "dj" without the quotes and hit enter.
thanks.

Thanks for the break-down. Wow, bummer about the dazy playback

Hmmm, guess that will be one more thing to look forward to when
the time
comes that I can upgrade the entire unit.

Hi Jenny,Well, you'll get many and lose some. As Alex fointed out, there
are many
things you'll get and things that Classic models will not be
able to
support. Here's why:The hardware itself with mono sound output is not capable of
supporting
playing multiple files at once. In other words, you can playmp3 files and you will not be able to hear the speech (although
there is a
workaround). There's no USB port, so anything to do with USB is excluded,
along with no
Bluetooth and SD.On the software side, since Classic has less RAM, Eloquence is
not included,
nor DAISY playback functionality. Here's what you'll get, starting with KeySoft 5.1: * Updated Planner KeySoft 6.1x: * WiFi 802.11b support (you'll need Ambicom card to use this)* Upgraded operating system to Windows CE 4.2 (Windows Mobile
2003)
* Updated Planner and Address List* Ability to adjust media and speech volumes independently
although you
still cannot listen to speech while a media file is being
played.
Keysoft 7.0x: * Text adventure games using z5 interpreter * Database Manager to create custom databases * Fractions. KeySoft 7.2: * Ability to open files under Directory. KeySoft 7.5 (last version for Classic): * Stats functions under calculator * UEB (Unified English Braille) support. And so forth. Let me know if I mismatched versions with
features.
Cheers, Joseph

Greetings all! Thanks again to all whoresponded to my questions regardingmy upgrade to the M-Power. I have readthrough the extended servicecontract information on the Humanware websiteas suggested, and found itinteresting , to say the least. However, upon reevaluating my options, Ihave decided to simply upgrade Keysoft toversion 7.5 first, and at somepoint down the road, when our finances are alittle more comfortable, I willcontact Humanware to determine what optionswill be available at that timeto upgrade the hardware. While this may notseem like the most logicalapproach to some, to put it simply, it iswhat I can afford at the presenttime. And quite frankly, if I don't changesomething about my current BNsituation, it will continue to merely collectdust in it's case, which Ithink is a real shame.
So, I suppose my only question now is, arethere any folks on the list whomight be willing to share their experienceswith upgrading just the softwareon the BN BT? I'm curious as to how stableit will be. I am also curiousabout what functionality will be added, aswell as unavailable due to thepost-dated hardware. For instance, would onebe able to read Daisy bookswith the new software, or is this featureonly available on the full-fledgedM-Power? What, if any, new features orprograms have you enjoyed with thenew version of Keysoft?
Thanks again, and I would like to say that Ihave really enjoyed this listthus far.
Jenny
