Hi kevin, that is actually not totally correct. When using active sync to move files from your BN to the PC they can be converted to a format that the PC will read then when they are moved back they are in pocket word format so then you would have to use your tip with reviewing options.

I think you need to make sure that the file will be converted with a setting in active sync.

Hope this helps,
From Shaz.

Sharon,

If the fiels that you are trying to sync are in KeySoft format or
some other
format that the PC isn't familiar with then it won't work. If you
are
planning on doing a lot of this kind of thing where you are
working on the
same documents on both the BrailleNote and PC then I would
recommend just
working on the Word format as it is possible to input using Grade
2 on the
BrailleNote in that format after going into Review Options.

Subject: [Braillenote] Syncing files to PC

Hello Everyone,

My question concerns syncing Braillenote BT with a desktop
computer using
Activesync. If I were to sync the grade 2 formatted files with
my desktop,
will I be able to work with such files on my PC in order to sync
them back
to the Braillenote? Does anyone use such a feature?

Thank you very much,
Sharon
