Hi Steve,

Thanks for the response.  Actually, I don't typically delete files without
backing them up first.  Rather than deleting the recommended files and
folders, I renamed them using a .old extention.  I just get more warm
fuzzies from knowing I can recover the data if need be.  Oh, and when
performing a space with I command on the "all" folder, it too returned the
message "access denied".

In KeyMail, if you go to the "All" folder and do <space>i, how many emails
are there, or does that give "access denied"?
You could also try KeyList and use the "Setup Options" to set it's file to
the Keymail/Email folders to see if you can get any messages that way.
Did you manage to get a backup of the Dictionaries and Keymail directories
before deleting things?
How did you delete the Keymail folder?
