John,
The one difference I see here on my pk accessing an att.yahoo.com
server is that I have secure connection for smtp server set to yes.
That may be your problem.

Subject: [Braillenote] Configuring Braille Note to send through
Yahoo
Hi,
I am helping my fiance set her Braille Note up to send and receive
email.
She has a work account and a home account, from two different
providers. She also has a t and t dsl at home, which we are
trying to use for sending and receiving.
We can receive just fine from both accounts, but are not able to
send, I am getting smtp errors.
I have the smtp server as smtp.att.yahoo.com
Secure connection for smtp server is set to no.
Smtp authentication required is set to yes.
Smtp port is set to 465.
Any suggestions for solving our problem are greatly appreciated!
Thanks, John
