if she has an account she has an email account. unless she isn't the
primary user of the account.if she is the primary account holder or the sol
owner then her signing username and password to the account will be the same
for her email even though she hasn't used it.
make sure that for username is her full email. which is
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or which ever service she has, besides at&t.

Thank you both for responding. I tried changing the "secure connection"
for the smtp server to yes, also tried setting the "secure connection" for
pop server to yes, but still haven't solved the problem.
The message I get is, "error sending email: 530, authentication required."
I should also mention that while my fiance has a t and t dsl, and it works
fine, she hasn't set up an email account with them. Or if she has one, we
don't have the loj in information, although I don't think that should have
any bearing on this problem.
Any other suggestions?
