Hey Sharon,
That's perfect. You're right on the mark. I checked out the sdw site and
that is indeed what the 7.5 link points to. I now have the key and will put
it on his machine when I see him next time. Interestingly enough, when I
prepared to download the key, the page showed a long string of letters and
numbers that was similar to a JAWS authorization string, so I copied that to
a .txt file and saved it as well.
Thanks again.
Tom

Hi, you said that there was 7.5 there on the SMA site so this is the
product key for that person's machine. You get the actual software from
another place but it sounds like you already have this so all you need to
do is make sure that the 7.5 box is checked then hit download.
Hope this helps, I'm now going to bed.
From Shaz.

Hi,
Steve writes:
Hi Tom,
When upgrading between builds of a version you don't need a
product key.
So for example, from 7.5 build 20 to 7.5 build 29 you would not
need a
key.
However, if you actually change version, like 7.2 build 47 to
7.5 build
anything, you will need a product key.
Okay, then we'll have to talk to Humanware about that. I visited
the SDW
site at
http://pulsedata.propagation.net/SDW/User/Login.aspx
and logged in with this guy's serial number and the password
frog1.
The available downloads were Keysoft 7.2 and 7.5. No product key
was
available for download there.
Thanks, guys, for clarifying this for me.
