Hello, Sissy:
 Even though you copy and paste an address, you need to make sure the 
information is moved including the less-than sign. You also need to make sure 
the greater-than sign isn't on the end of the email address. If you are using 
the BT, do the Backspace with dots 2-5 to erase the first and last name, then 
put your cursor past the less-than sign. Press backspace. Then, press dots 4-6 
chord to the end of the address, and press Backspace to get rid of the 
greater-than sign.
